PIEZOESWT (Shockwave Therapy)
Piezoelectric Shockwave Therapy (PiezoESWT) is a non-invasive, painless treatment method applied in male sexual health, particularly for erectile dysfunction (ED) and issues related to penile blood flow.
What is PiezoESWT?
PiezoESWT is administered using a specialized device that delivers high-energy sound waves (shockwaves) to the penis.
These waves increase microcirculation in the penis, support the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), and accelerate cellular metabolism within the tissue.
The procedure can be performed fully clothed or with minimal local anesthesia, and the patient does not experience pain.
When is it used?
PiezoESWT is particularly recommended in the following male sexual health situations:
-
Erectile dysfunction (ED), especially in cases unresponsive to PDE5 inhibitors or other medications
-
Circulatory problems in penile tissue
-
Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature and plaque formation)
-
Early erection disorders
-
Post-prostate surgery erectile function support
How is PiezoESWT applied?
-
Before the session, the penis and surrounding area are cleaned and, if necessary, gel is applied.
-
Shockwaves are directed to the penile tissue using a specialized probe.
-
The session typically lasts 15–20 minutes.
-
The usual treatment protocol is 1–2 sessions per week, totaling 6–12 sessions.

After the Treatment and Effects
-
Patients can return to daily activities immediately after the procedure.
-
Pain, bruising, or side effects are rare and temporary.
-
Effects generally begin within 2–4 weeks and can provide long-term benefits.
-
Regular follow-up and additional sessions, if necessary, optimize results.
Advantages
-
Non-invasive: no surgery or injections required
-
Painless and safe
-
Can be applied with or without medication support
-
Supports natural erectile mechanisms by improving microcirculation
-
Provides long-term tissue repair and vascular health
